A wonderful day at Windsor Championship Show, where TJ (Travellers Joy of Malpas) won his 3rd Challenge Certification (Under Judge Mrs S Cox) and has now earned the title of Show Champion.  This was achievement is particularly special as TJ is owned by Mandy and John Edwards; Mandy was a client who has become a really close friend. This success has a lovely story as not many exhibitors can say that from their first Cocker's litter, the first puppy born, becomes their first Show Dog, and is now a Show Champion!  I was really pleased when Mandy first asked me to groom TJ as he is a beautiful dog, that I have the pleasure of handling for the Mandy at the Shows.  I am glad to be able to say Congratulations Mandy and the Edwards family!  I am very happy to have played a part in your success.

As we find ourselves half way through Summer, please be aware of the dangers that grass-seeds can have in causing your dogs great discomfort, resulting in expensive vetinary costs.  We stock Snoods which have proved a great help in preventing grass-seeds being picked up by long eared breeds.  See the Snoods page for more details.

Snoods are availabe in the shop and we also offer a mail order service.  We have some great feedback from some of our Snood customers:

"Thank you so much for keeping back the snood for my dog.  It's my last hope against the fight against grass seeds in her ears.  she has had 5 procedures for grass seeds alone plus 2 other ops, so 7 lots of general anaethetic in her 2 years to date". Jane, Hemelhempstead

"I am very pleased that I found your website as I don't want my cocker spaniel to get any more grass seeds.  You would not believe what we had to pay the vet!" Mary, Wimbledon
